In 2018, Havens distributed 1,980 grants totaling over $1,090,000 to individuals and families all across New York City. The average grant was $551.

• Over 40% of Havens' grants supported people facing eviction or securing people a new, safe apartment to live.
• Over 10% of the beneficiaries were children 18 years and younger, while 20% were seniors 60 and older.
• Almost 20% of the beneficiaries were survivors of domestic violence. 
• One-third of the beneficiaries were employed at the time they received a Havens grant.
• Almost three-fourths of the beneficiaries were renting, while over 10% lived in shelter at the time of their Havens grant.
